Day 1 - Welcome to Scotland 

Day 2 - Play The Macrihanish Golf Club (Old)

Arrive Glasgow (or Edinburgh) Airport where you driver will be waiting or collect your rental car. Take the scenic coastal drive to Campbeltown on the gorgeous Mull of Kintyre and check into your hotel for the next 2 nights. 

Stay in Campbeltown in the Royal Hotel or similar

Founded in 1876, this links on the Mull of Kintyre (once the whisky capital of the world) is such a fun and natural course. It is not overly difficult or long but it is so much fun. 

The scene for the day is set on the very first hole. This exceptional hole with an elevated tee and where the fairway hugs the coast forces you to decide how brave you are and how much of the corner you'd like to cut.

Day 3 - Play Macrihanish Dunes Golf Club

Day 4 - Play Dundonald Links

130 years after the Old Tom Morris had a hand in creating the first course in this area, a new course has been born. Mach Dunes, is nestled into a massive 270 acres of protected dune-land and great lengths have gone into ensuring its pristine natural status. 
The course has enormous dunes, shaggy rough (controlled by sheep) and blind shots. This is a difficult course to the novice but one that will live long in the memory and a must play when on the West Coast.
After golf today, drive back to the Ayrshire Coast and check into your new hotel for the next 4 nights.

Situated on an historic, in world and golfing terms, stretch of coastline where D-Day landings were rehearsed and where world class golf courses adorn the terrain, Dundonald Links, born in 2005, is destined to be one of the very best. The host of the 2017 European Tour Scottish Open, a Kyle Phillips design and a true test of links golf.

Day 5 - Play Prestwick Golf Club

Day 6 - Royal Troon Golf Club 

(Old Course)

Prestwick is famous as the initial originator and sponsor of The Open Championship. The course remained in the Open's rotation until 1925, hosting the championship 24 times in all, which is second only to the Old Course at St. Andrews. A tour of the clubhouse and overview of the clubs historic impact this club had on the game of golf can be arranged in advance if there is group interest.

One of the great links courses in Scotland, the Old Course is a challenging test of golfing ability. With the wind to contend with, and deep rough interspersed with gorse and broom, accurate shot making is essential. The course has hosted The British Open eight times and its signature hole is the "Postage Stamp" eight which can play from a lob-wedge to a 5/6 iron.

Day 7 - Play Western Gailes Golf Club

Day 8 - Play Trump Turnberry 

(Ailsa Course)  

Host to the 1972 Curtis Cup, this course dating back to 1897 is the most northerly of the links courses in Ayrshire. It has wonderful variety including an unusually positioned clubhouse (in the middle of the course), 3 burns and great green complexes.

After golf today, drive south to Turnberry and check into the amazing Trump Turnberry Resort.

The 18-hole Ailsa championship course was venue for The Open Championship in 1977, 1986, 1994 and 2009 and is consistently ranked as one of the UK and Ireland’s top golf courses. In 2014 the course was acquired by Donald Trump and now trades under the Trump Collection.

Day 9 - Depart from Glasgow (or Edinburgh) Airport
